Wayfair Sales Tax Ruling Information

Due to the Supreme Court’s Wayfair Sales Tax Ruling, WorldPoint is collecting sales tax for purchases in the states listed below. This action may represent a change in how you have previously done business with WorldPoint.

WorldPoint was previously collecting sales tax in: Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

As of March 1, 2022, WorldPoint will also be collecting sales tax in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Please email your sales tax certificate to customerservice@worldpoint.com. Once your account is established, your certificate will be processed. Tax exemption cannot be applied to guest orders. Once invoiced, sales tax cannot be removed or refunded.

What if I have already provided a certificate and am already exempt?
WorldPoint is adding additional states for tax collection. If you already have a certificate on file and do not ship to any of the new states, then you do not have to do anything. If you already have a certificate on file, but also ship to any of the new states, you may need to provide additional certificates if the certificate on file does not cover every state that you ship to.
