Little Anne QCPR Manikin

Introduction

            Little Anne QCPR Manikin is a product in the Laerdal line of QCPR manikins. Laerdal manikins are anatomically accurate Quality CPR (QCPR) manikins that provide real-time feedback on the critical components of high-quality CPR. Through Laerdal manikins, you can track aspects such as chest compression rate, depth, recoil, fraction and also monitor the ventilation rate and volume in a life-like simulation. The feedback on these aspects of quality CPR help improve CPR techniques and help learners to internalize elements of quality CPR that could save a life in case of an emergency.

Little Anne QCPR Design and Features

            For years, it has been a challenge for CPR instructors to accurately and qualitatively gauge their students’ performance in CPR training. Laerdal’s QCPR technology has drastically bridged this gap by enabling instructors to accurately evaluate the CPR techniques of their students. This is the technology fitted in the Little Anne manikins. Little Anne manikins are AHA guideline compliant and come with an easy-to-setup Bluetooth system. The system easily pairs with your phone and submits real-time feedback to the QCPR mobile app.

    Little Anne manikins are all equipped with real-time CPR feedback technology that helps instructors monitor and improve training quality, learner engagement, and classroom efficiency. Little Anne manikins can be used in the training of AHA Heart Savers and Basic Life Support (CPR Training). The manikins have a variety of features such as life-like anatomy of the oral, nasal, throat and facial features that make CPR training easier and more effective.

The manikins perfectly respond to motions such as nose-pinches, head tilts and jaw thrusts and even provide feedback clicker signals during compression when the correct compression depths are achieved. All Little Anne manikins are made with Laerdal’s durable patented design. They are long-lasting, easy to maintain, and come with disposable lungs and removable faces.

With Little Anne manikins, you get ground-breaking technology that no other company has yet. The manikins also come with a QCPR classroom feature that can allow the training of up to 42 students at once while providing intelligent scoring and guidance to easily help monitor student progress. All Little Anne manikins are built to last and come with a one-year warranty.

Training offered with Little Anne QCPR devices

            With the real-time feedback technology in the Little Anne QCPR manikins, various training options can be offered. The Resusci manikin features allow comprehensive BLS training through the optional airway, head, IV arm and QCPR AED model. The manikins also provide an excellent platform for AHA Lifesaver training by proving feedback for chest compressions and ventilation rate. Evaluation of these aspects can significantly improve the quality of life-saving CPR and AED fast-aid procedures.

Types of Little Anne Devices

  1. Little Junior QCPR

The Little Junior QCPR manikin is a child-sized model of the Little Anne QCPR with the same features but anatomically curated for the body of a young child. This device is particularly useful in training for high-quality child CPR.

The Resusci Junior model is similar to the Little Junior QCPR model with a few notable differences. Unlike Little Junior, the Resusci Junior QCPR manikin is a full-body manikin. It also comes with a manual carotid pulse bulb that replaces the compression clicker in the Little Junior QCPR. Resusci Junior is perfect for training professional health-care providers and high-performance teams.

    Some of the key metrics measured include; Chest compression rate and depth, full-release, hands-on time, and adequate ventilation. The Resusci Junior QCPR manikin also has multiple feedback options;

  • SkillGuide™ PLUS with SkillReporter™ provides feedback on CPR parameters and allows real-time logging and monitoring of up to 6 manikins in scenario-based training.
  • SkillGuide™ is lightweight and portable and enables a learner to monitor and improve their CPR Skills;
  • Mobile App connects wirelessly to the manikin and comes with built-in tutorials that helps instructors and learners learn CPR more effectively.
  • Resusci Anne QCPR

The Resusci Anne is a comprehensive BLS training manikin that comes with an option for additional airway including OPA and NPA airway insertion and suctioning, supraglottic airways, Sellick maneuver, stomach decompression, and positive pressure ventilation. An alternative AED version is also available with features for manual/automatic defibrillation, with Laerdal defibrillation sensors.

            Resusci Anne also comes fitted with a manual carotid pulse bulb with optional IV insertion. Resusci Anne is a full-body manikin and does not come with a compression feedback clicker. A torso-only version is also available and is best for BLS training since it allows the creation of various training scenarios. The Resusci Anne QCPR manikin comes with all the feedback options included in the Resusci Junior.

3. Little Baby QCPR

 This manikin is suitable for pediatric CPR and choking training for infants. Little Baby QCPR is a realistic manikin with feedback that allows trainers to monitor training quality, learner engagements, and classroom efficiency among their trainees. Features of the QCPR include;
